Terms of Use

Last updated August 9, 2026

By using Adviser Pull, you agree to the terms below. This tool is provided for internal research and drafting assistance — read this page before relying on its output for anything client-facing.

What this tool is

Adviser Pull looks up an investment adviser's Form ADV filing on the SEC's public IAPD system and reformats select data — registration status, direct and indirect owners, assets under management, and reported private funds — into a spreadsheet. It is a convenience tool that automates a lookup a person could otherwise do by hand.

This is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for the primary source

Nothing generated by this tool constitutes legal advice or a certified record. Every field in the generated spreadsheet — including Direct Owners and Executive Officers (Schedule A) and Indirect Owners (Schedule B) — is extracted programmatically from the firm's own public SEC filing. You are responsible for independently verifying every field against the underlying Form ADV filing (or the firm directly) before using it in any client-facing or filed document.

Known limitations

Acceptable use

Use this tool for legitimate research on publicly registered investment advisers. Don't use it to attempt to overwhelm, scrape in bulk beyond normal lookup use, or otherwise abuse the SEC's public systems or the websites of the firms you look up.

No warranty

This tool is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of any generated data is at your own risk and subject to your own independent verification.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
